Duggan Lynch are proud to announce that they have signed a major contract with Kilkenny County Council for the development of a new tourism attraction. Kilkenny County Council, in partnership with Fáilte Ireland,  awarded the significant contract to Duggan Lynch Ltd. for the development of the ‘Museum of Medieval Kilkenny.’ This  project aims to unify The Tholsel and the Medieval Mile Museum, creating a premier tourist attraction in the heart of Kilkenny City. The focus of the contract is on enhancing The Tholsel building, including internal and external improvements and the installation of a lift to improve accessibility. The completed museum will offer an engaging, interactive experience themed around “The Rich, The Poor, The Rogues, and The Righteous,” highlighting the city’s medieval history. The project is expected to attract both national and international visitors, boosting the local economy and reinforcing Kilkenny’s reputation as a top tourist destination.
