Johnstown Castle

Single Storey 1,000 m2 Visitor Centre Building incl. Restaurant, Visitor Experience, Welfare Facilities, Kitchen and associated Site Works.

The Visitor’s center is the entrance point for Johnstown Castle grounds and Castle tours. The works included kitchen and associated site development works, new access gates, upgrade to access roads and provision of new car parking in a historic setting.

The building is situated within the walls of the “Farmyard” of the original castle, with the original yard wall kept as one of the walls of the new building. The contract included new paths around the lakes.
